The equations are illustrations of conditional statements or transitive property

The complete statement is: "If m + n = 2k and 2k = 2n + 8, then m + n = 2n + 8"

How to complete the transitive property

The equations are given as:

m + n = 2k and 2k = 2n + 8

Substitute 2n + 8 for 2k in m + n = 2k

So, we have:

m + n = 2n + 8

Hence, the complete statement is:

"If m + n = 2k and 2k = 2n + 8,

then m + n = 2n + 8

Help please..............
Alex777 [14]
The answer is rather symbol just combine the like terms! -2X^2 has no like terms for it is the only exponent so cancel out C because it doesn't start with -2X^2. Next we add all variables with X but no exponent so 3X and -5x Add those together to get 3X +-5X which is -2X because the + is cancelled out so ghe equation is 3X-5X which equals -2X so get rid of everything but B. Finally to confirm it is B add all the basic numbers so the five and three to get eight. So (f+g)(x) = -2X^2 -2X + 8. The answer is B. (You guys said it was A so I changed it but now I know I am right.)

Your rate of change would be 3/4 lb/week.
You could model this with a linear eq:

y = 8+ 3/4x

Salma and Jared each threw 5 darts at the target shown. Salma scored 19 points by landing 2 darts in A and 3 in B. Jared scored
victus00 [196]

Answer:

5

Step-by-step explanation:

this can be solved using simultaneous equation

2a + 3b = 19  equation 1

1a + 4b = 17    equation 2

Multiply equation 2 by 2

2a + 8b = 34  equation 3

Subtract equation 1 from 3

5b = 15

b = 3

Substitute for b in equation 1

2a + 3(3) = 19

2a = 9 = 19

2a = 10

a = 5
