Given:

  • Height of trapezium = 8cm
  • Parallel sides = 14.5 and 19.5 cm

~

To Find:

  • Area of trapezium

~

Solution:

  • Area of trapezium = 1/2 (Sum of parallel sides) × H

~

Substituting values in the formula:

\longrightarrow \sf  \dfrac{1}{2}  × (14.5 + 19.5) × 8

\longrightarrow \sf   \dfrac{1}{2}    \times 34 × 8

\longrightarrow \sf \dfrac{1}{2}   × 272

\longrightarrow \sf 136 cm

~

Hence,

  • Area of trapezium is 136cm

Can someone check my math homework? Please I need it to be checked.
dmitriy555 [2]
I have to say this is wrong because you subtracted 3 and 3 is the variable term. So what you need to do is to add 9 to both side to get 3x by it self. Then divide by 3 and then x=6

-.12 to both sides
49.46+.2x = 55.96
-49.46 to both sides
.2x = 6.5
Divide by .2 on both sides
X= 32.5
