DaniilM [7]

Answer:

2. "I need to restrict my activity while this catheter is in place."

Explanation:

A peripherally inserted central catheter is a radiopaque, single or double lumen silicone catheter centrally located through the puncture of a peripheral vessel, with medium to long term permanence. The placement of this catheter is a simple procedure, with aseptic technique, can be performed on the patient's bed, properly monitored, and is a procedure exclusively of the duly qualified nurse. Recovery from the procedure is also simple and easy and the patient can continue with his normal daily activities. For this reason, a patient who says "I need to restrict my activity while this catheter is in place" demonstrates that he needs more knowledge about the catheter.

Briefly explain the relationship between nutrition, quality of life and disease
Serggg [28]
Nutrition is an important thing in regards to quality of life. With adequate nutrition your body will have the nutrients and vitamins that are vital in keeping the homeostasis of our bodies intact, and when this happens, you are feel good. However without adequate nutrition you are predisposed towards diseases that result directly from the lack of adequate nutrition (Like Bari-Bari if you lack Vitamin b12) or your body is inadequate when fighting illnesses like the flu because it doesn't have the energy and nutrition required to help fight.
