Answer:

Point slope form of the equations:

y = -3x + 8

y = 2x - 2

Solution to the system of equations:

(x, y) ==> (2, 4)

Step-by-step explanation:

6x + 2y = 16

2x - y = 2

6x + 2y = 16

2(2x - y = 2)  ==> 4x - 2y = 4

6x + 2y = 16

4x - 2y = 4

10x = 20

/10     /10

x = 2

Now, we solve for y:

6x + 2y = 16

6(2) + 2y = 16

12 + 2y = 16

-12         -12

2y = 4

/2   /2

y = 2

(x, y) ==> (2, 2)

Point-slope forms:

6x + 2y = 16

-6x          -6x

2y = -6x + 16

/2        /2

y = -3x + 8

2x - y = 2

-2x      -2x

-1y = -2x + 2

/-1       -1

y = 2x - 2

Hope this helps!

Which function has the same domain as y=2 square root x
matrenka [14]
We are given the function
y = 2 √x

We are asked for the function that has the same domain as the given function

First, the domain for the given function is this
{ x | x ≥ 0 }

So, any function that has a domain of x that is equal to or greater than 0. Some examples:
f(x) = √x  -  2
f(x) = 5 √x

I am struggling hard out with linear algebra in math level one
Elena L [17]
I would recommend "Introduction to Linear Algebra," by Gilbert Strang. It is a compact but very helpful textbook reference written by a well-known MIT professor. There is a corresponding online MIT course that is free, so that's a bonus. I am currently using it to study linear algebra with no class or previous experience, and I think it does a solid job of explaining things. Each section in the book has a set of questions for you to work through, and answers to selected questions appear in an appendix at the end of the book. Hope this helps!

An investment of 100,000 AED increases at a rate of 16% per year. What is
stepan [7]

Answer:

1,946,075.95 AED

Step-by-step explanation:

Firstly, we write the general formula for an exponential increase as follows;

V(t) = A( 1 + r)^t

where V(t) is the value after some number of years t

A is the investment amount which is 100,000 AED

r is the rate of increase which is 16% = 16/100 = 0.16

t is the number of years which is 20

substituting these values;

V(20) = 100,000( 1 + 0.16)^20

V(20) = 100,000(1.16)^20

V(20) = 1,946,075.95 AED
