America was neutral and I think it was the best decision they could’ve done to avoid further complications.

Answer:

The United States remained neutral. Yes it was a good decision because if they would have picked a side they most likely would've been pulled into the war. Remaining neutral in most cases of war keeps you out of danger, unless an attacking country attacks you first, pulling you into the war. (Like Japan attacking America, bringing them into WW2)
