The inverse of any function is when you switch the position of the 'y' and 'x' variables, like such:

  x = \sqrt[3]{y+10} \\x^3=y+10\\y = x^3-10\\f^{-1} (x)=x^3-10

Hope that helps!

mylen [45]

When cost is equal

\begin{gathered} 300+0.14x=200+0.025x \\ 300-200=0.25x-0.014x \\ 100=0.011x \\ x=\frac{100}{0.011} \\ x=9090.90909091 \\ x=9090.91 \end{gathered}
