The average Power created by the force F is; P_avg = 1440 W

What is the Average Power?

We are given;

Initial velocity; u = 0 m/s

Acceleration; a = 0.08 m/s²

Time; t = 1 minute = 60 s

Formula for distance is;

s = ut + ¹/₂at²

s = 0 + (¹/₂ * 0.08 * 60²)

s = 144 m

Work done by force is

W = F * s

W = 600 * 144

W = 86400 J

Average power created by a Force is;

P = workdone/time taken

P = 86400/60

P = 1440 Watts

Complete question is;

A sled is being pulled along a horizontal surface by a horizontal force F of magnitude 600 N. Starting from rest, the sled speeds up with acceleration 0.08 m/s² for 1 minute.

Find the average power Pavg created by the force F.

How do ethical concerns affect scientific research?
VARVARA [1.3K]
Hello

We can approach science from various angles. It may be that our aim is to solve a problem or to try to understand something. But, at the same time, what we find in it as explanatory or credible may be different if our profession is to be a trader, an importer of industrial equipment, a researcher or a teacher. Our concerns about science may differ according to the angle from which we think about it. That is to say, what is important when judging or evaluating science is different according to our relationship with it at certain times: whether we see it as producers, disseminators or consumers. Therefore, from the outset we have an area of complexity in thinking about science from our starting point.

nikklg [1K]

Answer:

True

You don't need sugar for energy. Carbo hydrates and protiens gets converted into glucose for energy. Whereas if you eat sugar it will mess with your glucose level in blood. It is linked with diseases and health hazards such as type 2 diabetes, heart diseases,obesity,cognitive dysfunction in children, aging faster,etc.

Morever as you age your body can't handle too much spike in blood sugar leading to t2d(insulin resistivity /low production of insulin).

Also as sugar crosses brain barrier easily, it will cause several brain diseases eventually.
