The argument that challenges the legality of segregation in Brown v. Board of Education is that separate schools could never be equal, by their nature.

Option B is correct.

Who is Thurgood Marshall?

Thurgood Marshall was a civil rights activist and an American lawyer who performed as Compeer Justice of the Supreme Court of the US from October 1967 to October 1991.

He was the first African-American court justice. Earlier in his legal service, he with success debated many subjects or cases in front of the Supreme Court, considering the case of Brown v. Board of Education.

In the above landmark conclusion, the Supreme Court maintained that separatism in public education disregarded the Equivalent Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment.

Therefore, option B is correct.

Probable cause. An officer has reason to believe that a crime may be comitted. (physical evidence, observations, statements, video/audio.)

Searches. Officers are only allowed to do a pat down (terry search, frisk) as a protective measure. They can do a full search if a suspect is taken into custody.

4th amendment protects against unreasonable search and seizures.

When a suspect is being questioned (for incriminating information) they must be read their Miranda rights before proceeding. Basic questions are allowed. ("How are you doing?").

Abuse of police authority could be requesting to see an ID when there is no probable cause.

8_murik_8 [283]
What we are looking for is the confidence interval.

Given:

Sample it is denoted by n = 10

Mean = 80

Standard deviation = 12

Confidence Interval = 99%

Now compute for the margin of error, the formula is Za/2 * σ/√(n)

A 99% level of confidence has a critical value of zα/2 = 2.58.

The standard error is σ/√(n) = 3.162

Multiply 2.58 by 3.162 = 9.8 is the margin of error.

The formula for confidence interval is x̅ ± Za/2 * σ/√(n)

= 80 ± 9.8

= 70.2 < x< 89.8
