perimeter=2(85)+π(12.5)=220+2×12.5π

=170+25×3.14

=170+78.5

=248.5

distance ran=3×248.5=745.5 yards.

UV has the endpoints U(0, 3) and V(–4, –5). Which shows the correct calculation for finding the x-coordinate of the point that p
Pavlova-9 [17]

Solution:

The end points of line segment UV is U(0, 3) and V(–4, –5).

The line segment is Partitioned by a point in the ratio of 4:3.Let that point be (x,y).

Formula for internal division

A line segment having end points (x_{1},y_{1}) and (x_{2},y_{2}) divided by a point (x,y) in the ratio of m:n.

x=\frac{m x_{2}+nx_{1}}{m+n}, y=\frac{m y_{2}+ny_{1}}{m+n}

x=\frac{3\times 0+4 \times -(4)}{4+3}=\frac{-16}{7}

fathers age is 5 times the sons age. if the sum of their ages is 60 yearsm what willbe their ages after 5 years.? step by step p
Vlada [557]

Step-by-step explanation:

let father's age be f yr old and son age be s yr old

f = 5s -(1)

f + s = 60 -(2)

sub (1) into (2):

5s + s = 60

6s = 60

s = 10

f = 60 - 10 = 50

in 5 yr time, father age = 50 + 5 = 55

son age = 10 + 5 = 15
