If the answer is squared, just multiply for how you usually find the area, not the volume.

Answer:

200

Step-by-step explanation:

So its basically you multiply the length by the width which is 15 times 5 which is 75 then you multiply 75 times 4 which is 200 so the answer is 200.

What is the slope intercept form of the linear equation 4x + 2y = 24
castortr0y [4]
The answer is: y = -2x+12

4x+2y=24=

4x-4x+2y=24-4x=

2y=24-4x

Divide each piece by 2=

2y/2=24/2-4x/2

y=12-2x

But, slope intercept form is y=mx + b so you must put the second part in reverse, making the answer to the equation be y=-2x+12
(Don't forget the - on -2)

Four spheres of a radius 6cm just fit inside a cylinder
aksik [14]

Answer:

The space left inside the cyclinder =36π(h - 24)

step-by-step explanation:

Radius of sphere = 6cm

Diameter of cylinder = 12cm

Radius of cylinder = d / 2 = 12 /2 = 6cm

Formula for volume of a sphere = 4/3 πr³

Formula for volume of volume of a cylinder = πr²h

r = radius

h = height

The volume of one sphere = 4/3πr³

Volume of 4 spheres = 4 * 4/3πr³ = 12/3 πr³ = 4πr³

But radius of the sphere = 6cm

Volume of the sphere = 4 * π * 6³

Volume of the sphere = 864π

Let the space left in the cylinder = x

The space left in the cylinder (x) = volume of the cylinder - total volume of the spheres

x = πr²h - 4πr³

Note : both radius = 6cm and we can just substitue it

x = πr² (h - 4r)

x = π*6² (h - 4*6)

x = 36π (h - 24)

The space left inside the cylinder = 36π(h - 24) since we don't know the value of the height of the cylinder.

A square has an area of 150 square centimeters. Which of the
Sergio [31]

Answer:

C) 12.2 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the area of a square, you multiply length and width, which for a square, are the same. So to find the length of one of its sides, you have to take the square root of the area.

L^{2} = 150\\\\L=\sqrt{150} \\L= 12.2\\
