It’s the same the triangle has a length of two and a height of 4 so it’s 8. but that would be a square so we divide the 8 by 2 and it’s 4. and the square in the right is also 4

Does any one know the answer?
nekit [7.7K]

Answer: option C

find f(x) - g(x)

f(x)= -9x^2 - 7x + 12

g(x) = 3x^2 - 4x -15

To find f(x) - g(x) we plug in the functions and subtract

-9x^2 - 7x + 12- ( 3x^2 - 4x -15)

Remove the parenthesis and change the sign of each term

-9x^2 - 7x + 12 - 3x^2 + 4x +15

Combine like terms

-12x^2 - 3x + 27

So option C is correct

To sew a garment, a seamstress uses 5.7 centimeters of thread for every 7.6 centimeters of fabric.
JulijaS [17]

Answer:

Part a) 5.6\ cm of fabric

Part b) 15.9\ cm of thread

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

A seamstress uses 5.7 centimeters of thread for every 7.6centimeters of fabric

Part a)

by proportion

Find how much fabric is involved if the seamstress uses 4.2 centimeters of thread

\frac{7.6}{5.7}\frac{cm\ fabric}{cm\ thread} =\frac{x}{4.2}\frac{cm\ fabric}{cm\ thread} \\ \\x=4.2*7.6/5.7\\ \\x=5.6\ cm\ fabric

Part b)

by proportion

Find how many centimeters of thread is needed if the seamstress is working with 21.2 centimeters of fabric

\frac{7.6}{5.7}\frac{cm\ fabric}{cm\ thread} =\frac{21.2}{x}\frac{cm\ fabric}{cm\ thread} \\ \\x=5.7*21.2/7.6\\ \\x=15.9\ cm\ thread
