Adulthood is marked as the period at which one reaches their peak performance and the body processes have begun to deteriorate with age. At this stage of life exercise and diet is very important for several reasons. One reason is the fact that the body's metabolic rate begins to deteriorate as well meaning that energy providing substances like Lipids and Sugars begin to back up causing increased risk of obesity.
