Answer:

Alright so the answer is B but I'll explain why because im nice ig.

Step-by-step explanation:

So lets do some calcumalations.

We'll use 1 as n and should get an output of 3 to check these formulas. Since 1 is the first term and 3 is the first term value makes sense alright.

So 9^1-1 is 0 and any number to the 0 power is 1 so that wont work.

3(4)^1-1 = 3(1); that's the answer

4^1-1 = 1, + 3 = 4 so that wont work either

I hope this helps ya have a great afternoon

morpeh [17]
Hello, Shakiya214!

If a fish tank contains 16 goldfish and 24 guppies, then we can deduce that the total number of fish in the tank is: 16 + 24 = 40 fish.
If there are 16 goldfish in the tank, then of the 40 total fish, we have a probability of 16/40.

To illustrate this idea, suppose we had n fish in the tank (a guppies and b goldfish). The probability of selecting any fish is 100% (because there are only fish in the tank). If we had to select the goldfish, we could choose them like this:

p₁, p₂, p₃, p₄ ... pₐ

We could choose any one of these fish twice. This leaves us with: 16/40
Now, if they were NOT replaced, we could simply do it again. Except this time, we can only choose 15 out of the remaining 39 goldfish, leaving us with a probability of: (16/40)(15/39) = 240/1560 = 6/39 = 2/13

A circular flower bed is 22 m in diameter and has a circular sidewalk around it that is 4 m wide. Find the area of the sidewalk
antoniya [11.8K]

Answer:

326.6 m^2

to nearest tenth.

Step-by-step explanation:

The radius of the flower bed = 1/2 * 22 = 11m

The radius of the whole area included the sidewalk = 11 + 4 = 15 m

So the area of the sidewalk = area of the whole - area of flower bed

= 3.14 * 15^2 - 3.14* 11^2

= 326.6 m^2.
