Answer:

406.08

Step-by-step explanation:

First FInd the area of the rectangle : which is short side * long side

-> 15*12=180m

Then find the area of the half circle, the formula of the area of a circle is \pi r^2

here it's half a circle so it's \frac{\pi r^2}{2} where r is 12

-> 3.14\cdot \frac{\left(12\right)^2}{2}=226.08 m

Finally just add the area of the rectangle with the area of the half circle

-> 180+226.08=406.08 m

ycow [4]

Things that make me skeptical: No evidence is provided, the company also claims that its washing machine produces 4000 joules of output for ever 3000 joules of input, and there is no possible way of creating a joule output larger than the input, unless your using coils to increase electricity, but that's not what washing machines have inside of their machinery. Washing machines don't have mini Tesla coils inside their machinery!

I hope this helps!

PLEASE HELP I CANT CONTINUE WITH MY WORK UNLESS THESE ARE COMPLETE AND CORRECT
Snezhnost [94]

Answer:

1) x=3, y=-3

Step-by-step explanation:

10x + 7y = 9 —— (1)

-4x -7y = 9 —— (2)

(1) + (2)

6x = 18

x = 18/6

x = 3

put x=3 in (1)

10(3) + 7y = 9

30 + 7y = 9

7y = 9 - 30

7y = -21

y = -21/7

y = -3

What is x? -3(2x-7)+5=2x-9
vitfil [10]

Answer:

x=4.375

Step-by-step explanation:

-3(2x-7)+5=2x-9

-6x+21+5=2x-9

-6x+26=2x-9

-6x-2x+26=2x-2x-9

-8x+26=-9

-8x+26-26=-9-26

-8x=-35

-8x/-8=-35/-8

x=4.375

A polynomial function upper P left parenthesis x right parenthesis with rational coefficients has the given roots. Find two addi
mylen [45]

Given that a polynomial function P(x) has rational coefficients.

Two roots are already given which are i and 7+8i,

Now we have to find two additional roots of P(x)=0

Given roots i and 7+8i are complex roots and we know that complex roots always occur in conjugate pairs so that means conjugate of given roots will also be the roots.

conjugate of a+bi is given by a-bi

So using that logic, conjugate of i is i

also conjugate of 7+8i is 7-8i

Hence final answer for the remaining roots are (-i) and (7-8i).
