The correct ois D. -17.5 degrees
Step-by-step explanation:
The daytime temperature in Apple Valley is
falling by 2.5 degrees each day
Therefore, Change in the temperature each day
=-2.5 degrees
Now, we need to find the net change in the daily
temperature after one calendar week
Now, number of days in one calendar week = 7
So, Net change in the daily temperature after
one calendar week = Daily change × Number of
days in one calendar week
Net change in the daily temperature after
one calendar week =-2.5 x7
# Net change in the daily temperature after
one calendar week =-17.5 degrees
Therefore, The correct option is -17.5

PLZZZZ HELP What is the slope of a line that is perpendicular to a line whose equation is 3y=−4x+2 ?
earnstyle [38]

\bf 3y=-4x+2\implies y=\cfrac{-4x+2}{3} \\\\\\ y=\stackrel{\stackrel{slope}{\downarrow }}{-\cfrac{4}{3}}x+\cfrac{2}{3}\impliedby \begin{array}{|c|ll} \cline{1-1} slope-intercept~form\\ \cline{1-1} \\ y=\underset{y-intercept}{\stackrel{slope\qquad }{\stackrel{\downarrow }{m}x+\underset{\uparrow }{b}}} \\\\ \cline{1-1} \end{array}

so the slope of that line above is really -4/3, now

\bf \stackrel{\textit{perpendicular lines have \underline{negative reciprocal} slopes}} {\stackrel{slope}{-\cfrac{4}{3}}\qquad \qquad \qquad \stackrel{reciprocal}{-\cfrac{3}{4}}\qquad \stackrel{negative~reciprocal}{+\cfrac{3}{4}\implies \blacktriangleright \cfrac{3}{4} \blacktriangleleft}}

Mel has to put the greatest number of
Dmitry_Shevchenko [17]

Mel should use the least  common multiple to solve the problem

<u>Solution:</u>

Given, Mel has to put the greatest number of bolts and nuts in each box so each box has the same number of bolts and the same number of nuts.

We have to find that should Mel use the greatest common factor or the least common multiple to solve the problem?

He should use least common multiple.

Let us see an example, suppose 12 bolts and nuts are to be fit in 6 boxes.

Then, if we took H.C.F of 12 and 6, it is 6, which means 6 bolts and nuts in each box, but, after filling 2 boxes with 6 bolts and nuts, there will be nothing left, which is wrong as remaining boxes are empty.

So the remaining method to choose is L.C.M.

Hence, he should use L.C.M method.
