importance of chlorophyll

The main use of chlorophyll for photosynthesis is to capture the electromagnetic light energy from the sun. Sunlight is broken up into a spectrum of colors, the visible portion of which humans see in rainbows and in light shone through prisms. Chlorophyll uses the red and blue parts of the light to create the energy required for photosynthesis. Different forms of chlorophyll absorb slightly different colors of light. No types absorb green light, so all of the green light from the sun is reflected by the plant, which makes humans see them as green in color.

How does the distance from this eye chart affect the number of letters visible on a line? What factor of the experiment is the e
zlopas [31]

Answer:

This question is asking to identify the variable in the experimental statement.

The eye chart is the CONTROL VARIABLE

Explanation:

An experiment consists of several variables to look out for in order to achieve any significant result. These variables are independent variables, dependent variables and control variables. Although independent and dependent variables are the major experimental variables, but control variables are also important.

A control variable is the variable that remains constant or unchanged throughout the experiment. Any change to the control variable will affect the dependent and independent variables. In this question, the eye chart is the CONTROL VARIABLE because it remains constant or unchanged. The same eye chart is used for the experiment.

N.B: The distance to the eye chart is the independent variable while the number of letters visible on the line is the dependent variable. Hence, changing the eye chart (control variable) will affect the distance and the number of letters visible.

Compare and contrast the role of secretory vesicles, the lysosome, and the peroxisome.
Daniel [21]

Lysosomes ( common in animal cell but rare in plant cells) contain hydrolytic enzymes necessary for intracellular digestion in white blood cells that eat bacteria) lysosomes contents are carefully released Into the cytoplasm can also cause cell death.

Peroxisomes: this organelle is responsible for protecting the cell form its own production of toxic hydrogen peroxide. As an example, white blood cells produce hydrogen peroxide to kill bacteria .The oxidative enzymes in peroxisomes break down the hydrogen peroxide into water and oxygen.

Secretory vesicles: cell secretions –e.g, hormones, neurotransmitters, are packaged in secretory vesicles at the Golgi apparatus. The secretory vesicles are then transported to the cell surface for releases.

Describe what will happen to a wave as it goes through a hole. What do you call this?
motikmotik

Answer:

Explanation:

As the water waves go through the gap they spread out, this is called diffraction.

The longer the wavelength of the wave the larger the amount of diffraction.

The greatest diffraction happens when the gap size is about the same size as the wavelength.

What are the parts of the lipid?
Svetllana [295]
Lipids/Fats have glycerol in addition to three fatty acids. The structure of the fatty acids determines whether or not the fat is considered saturated or unsaturated. Phospholipids have four major components: fatty acids, a glycerol component, and both a phosphate group and a polar molecule
