Connective tissues in animals

Connective tissues are the internal tissues of the body that provides support and protection for the body organs.

There are different types of connective tissues which include:

 • loose connective tissue,

 • adipose tissue,

 • dense fibrous connective tissue,

 • elastic connective tissue,

 • cartilage,

 • osseous tissue (bone), and blood.

The dense fibrous connective tissue are further divided into:

 • dense regular,

 • dense irregular, and

 • elastic.

Dense irregular connective tissues are so called because the are heavily packed with collagen fibres that are irregularly arranged.

Explanation: I think the way to do it is to just divide the biomass of the primary carnivores by the herbivores since they are the trophic levels right next to each other. Therefore, the efficiency of energy transfer is (2360/25900)*100%=9.112%. Hope that helped!

This holds an organism's hereditary information. All cells contain the same genetic information before differentiation.
umka2103 [35]

DNA or deoxyribonucleic acid is macromolecule composed of nucleotides (nitrogen nucleobase, deoxyribose sugar and phosphate group) which carries genetic information (instructions). Instructions within DNA are for development, growth, reproduction and many other functional roles of an organism.

All of the cells within an organism contain the same genome (full set of DNA-chromosomes). When cells begin the process of differentiation (cells become specified) their genome stays the same, but the gene expression is different (different genes are on or off).

Glucose is very important to the yeast cell. Because, it is known to be the energy and carbon source to the yeast cell.

Apart from the importance mentioned, the glucose also act as a signaling molecule. This means that , it can regulate the physiology aspects of the yeast cell.

It should be noted that, a signaling molecule can be described as a molecule capable of transmitting information between or among the cells.
