Answer:

the answer should be b. 259.56 inches because first of all remember the word perimeter that is adding all up the sides of a figures and remember the formula for the cirmuference is c=TTd and first of all you add 27+27 getting an answer of 54 so when you get that multiply 3.14 times 54 getting an answer of 169.56 and then you add 60+60 getting an answer of 120 because these sides are congruent meaning they are the same or have the same length and finally the last part is adding your answers which is 169.56 and 120 getting an answer of 289.56 so b is the correct and have a great day.

Find modulus and principle argument of compiles numbers Z=5/2(cos300+isin300)
Paul [167]

z = \frac{5}{2}(\cos(300) + i\sin(300)) = \frac{5}{2}(\frac{1}{2} - i\frac{\sqrt{3}}{2})\\|z| = \sqrt{(\frac{5}{4})^2 + (\frac{5\sqrt{3}}{4})^2} = \sqrt{\frac{25}{16} + \frac{75}{16}} = \sqrt{\frac{100}{16}} = \frac{10}{4} = \frac{5}{2}

Draw a line segment PQ of length 8cm. Find 1/4 of PQ using compass.
gtnhenbr [62]
To help you answer:  think about what makes a fourth.  If you have a rectangular cake, how do you split it into four pieces?

To do so with the compass however, remember that the joining the points of intersection of intersecting circles with the same radius creates a perpendicular bisector.

Two figures are similar with a scale factor of 5/2.
aev [14]

Answer:

If we have two figures, F and F'

Such that if we start with F, and dilate it with a scale factor K, we get F'.

We will have:

All the measures of F', are K times the correspondent measures of F.

Then if F has  s₁, s₂, ..., sₙ sides, the sides of F' will be:

K*s₁, K*s₂, ..., K*sₙ

The ratio between correspondent sides will be equal to K

The ratio between perimeters will also be equal to K (because the perimeter is the sum of all the sides of each figure, so we can just take K as a common factor)

In the case of the area, because we usually multiply a measure by another, a factor K^2 will  appear, and the quotient between the areas is K^2

And finally, for the volumes, the ratio will be K^3

a) The ratio of corresponding lengths is K, in this case is 5/2

b) The ratio of the perimeters is K, in this case is 5/2

c) The ratio of the areas is K^2, in this case is (5/2)^2 = 25/4

d) The ratio of the areas is K^3, in this case is (5/2)^3 = 125/8

e) Two figures are similar if the figures have the same shape, then the corresponding angles are exactly the same, then the ratio of corresponding angle measures is 1.
