Answer:

you didnt add an actual line

Step-by-step explanation:

you have to add a ray, which counts as a line in this case, which goes from 1  to 5 and beyond. (the arrow should point right from the 5)

the second ray has to start from -4 and the arrow has to be left from -5.

you have to add the rays because the question is asking for a number line

Use the following ordered pairs
Lynna [10]

The ordered pair for Y is (-4,-2)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

X(-2,3)

Z(-6,-7)

As Y is the mid-point of XZ, it will divide Xz in two equal segments. Y is the mid-point of the segment.

Let (x_Y, y_Y) be the coordinates of the mid-point

Then

(x_Y, y_Y) = (\frac{x_1+_2}{2} , \frac{y_1+y_2}{2})

Putting the values

=(frac{-2-6}{2} , \frac{3-7}{2})\\=(\frac{-8}{2} , \frac{-4}{2})\\=(-4, -2)

Hence,

The ordered pair for Y is (-4,-2)

What do i do please help!
Art [367]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

this is confusing b/c they are asking about two trains traveling at differnt speeds, but.. if you put the speeds together and make one train... imaginary.. ofc... traveling at the speed of both trains combined... when will it be 50 miles from the station?

maybe you can solve that?   I'll solve it below.. but.. if you can.. try it now, on your own

below is my answer... don't look until you have solved yours :P

80+70= 150kph

when will this have traveled 50Km?

you may be able to see that it will take 1/3 of an hour to travel 50 km

so 60 minutes times 1/3 = 20 minutes  :)

Need help on this <br> This is on angles and triangles
choli [55]

Answer:

a) 4x + 76 = 180 (x = 26)

b)

- m<1  = 102

- m<2 = 78

Step-by-step explanation:

First we know 4x + 76 = 180. The reason for that is we know angle one plus angle two = 180 so 3x + 1x + 76 has to equal 180.

We can solve for x now.

4x + 76 = 180.

Subtract 76 to maintain equality on both sides.

4x = 104.

x = 26

Now we can get the angles.

For angle #1 let's substitute x as 26.

angle one = 26 + 76.

angle one = 102

For angle #2 let's substitute x as 26.

angle two = 3(26)

angle two = 78

Let's check!

78 + 102 = 180.

180 = 180 YES

Well, this took some time :)
