Answer:

9/4

Step-by-step explanation:

<em>Base on the given info we first have to use:</em>

<em>∴  Permutation formula ∴</em>

\mathrm{_np_r=\frac{n!}{(n-r)!}}

P   =     permutation

n = total number of objects

r = number of objects selected

Note that:
Order of which the letters are chosen is important.

Permutation Formula is which possible permutations of x elements from a set of n elements is given by.

From the given it states that five letters will be chosen from a set of nine.

Thus, now we have:

N=P_(_9_,_5_)=\frac{9!}{(9-5)!}=\frac{9!}{4!}

Thus, the answer is 9/4

Use the data in the following table, which lists drive-thru order accuracy at popular fast food chains. Assume that orders are
Sergeu [11.5K]

Probability of getting an order from Restaurant A or an order that is accurate is 1.21,

The events are not disjoint events.

<h3>What is the probability?</h3>

Probability is used to calculate the odds that a random event would occur. The odds that the random event happens lie between 0 and 1.

Total number of accurate orders = 332 + 277 + 244 +  150 = 1,003

Total number of orders = 31 + 51 + 30 + 10 + 1003 = 1,125

Total number of orders from restaurant A = 332 + 31 = 363

Probability of getting an order from Restaurant A = total number of orders from restaurant A / total number of orders

363 / 1125 = 0.32

Probability that the order is accurate = number of accurate orders / total number of orders

1003 / 1125 = 0.89

Probability of getting an order from Restaurant A or an order that is accurate = 0.32 + 0.89 = 1.21

Disjoint events are events that are mutually exclusive. If one event happens, the other event cannot happen

What set would no longer be a A function if the ordered pair(5,3) was added
Delicious77 [7]
The answer is D because a function means for every input  you get exactly one output so
for every x you get one y
in D there is a coordinate (5,2) meaning that if you put in 5 for x you get 2 for y

but the new ordered pair also  has 5 for x but has a difarent y value.  this violates the definition of a funciton
