The mass of the aeroplane is 300,000 kg.

What is Newton's second law of motion?

It states that the force F is directly proportional to the acceleration a of the body and its mass.

The law is represented as

F =ma

where acceleration a = velocity change v / time interval t

Given is the aeroplane lands at a speed of 80 m/s. After landing, the aeroplane takes 28 s to decelerate to a speed of 10 m/s. The mean resultant force on the aeroplane as it decelerates is 750 000 N.

The force expression will be

F = mv/t

Substitute the values and we have

750000 = m x (80 -10)/ 28

750,000 = m x 2.5

m = 300,000 kg

Thus, the mass of the aeroplane is 300,000 kg.

Which transformation of energy occurs when a fan is turned on and the blades start to rotate?
Ksju [112]

Answer:

kinetic energy

Explanation:

A wind turbine transforms the mechanical energy of wind into electrical energy. A turbine takes the kinetic energy of a moving fluid, air in this case, and converts it to a rotary motion. As wind moves past the blades of a wind turbine, it moves or rotates the blades. These blades turn a generator

In what region of the electromagnetic spectrum is a photon found that possesses twice as much energy as one in the blue region (
iren2701 [21]
The answer is: ultraviolet The energy (E) of a photon is directly proportional to its frequency f, by Planck's formula: E = hf, where h is Planck's constant (6.625 * 10**-34 joule-second). The frequency is inversely proportional to the wavelength w by: f = c/w, where c is the speed of light, 3.0 * 10**8 meters per second. Combine these formulas and we see that the energy is inversely proportional to the wavelength by: E = hc/w If the energy is inversely proportional to the wavelength, a photon with twice the energy has half the wavelength of our 442-nm. photon in this example. So its wavelength is 221 nm. which is in the ultraviolet range.

The free body diagram shows a box being pulled to the left up a 25-degree incline
Greeley [361]
The question is incomplete but still I answer to assume your thinking.
The picture is attached below!.
Here,
F is the force with which you pull up the incline.
N is the normal force.
w is the weight acting downward.
Axis are mentioned in the attached picture.
Concept:
You can see there is no movement of object in the y-direction that means acceleration is zero in y-direction, sum of all the forces in y-direction equal to zero.
According to newton second law,
∑ F = ma
As, acceleration is zero in y-direction, so right hand side is zero in the above equation.
∑ F = 0
N-wcosθ=0
N= m*g*cos25°
N= m*(9.8)*(0.9063)
N= 8.8817*m
By putting the value of mass(m)(not given in the question) you will get the answer.
Hopefully, this is the answer of your question.

A block and tackle is used to lift an automobile engine that weighs 1800 N. The person exerts a force of 300 N to lift the engin
Sidana [21]

Answer:

1800/300 = 6ropes

Explanation:

The engine weighs 1800N and the person exerts a force of 300N, so for him to lift the engine and exerting a force of 300N all through we divide the weight of the engine by the force exerted to know how many ropes are used. Which makes it 6 thereby each rope uses 300N to lift the engine.
