Answer:

assumption:

drinks are selected with replacement from refreshment stand

note:

i think "choosing" is poorly worded in the problem

use complement of everyone selecting a unique drink:

1-(8*7*6*5)/8^4 = 151/256 = 0.5898

answer -> D 0.59

What is the quotient of -8(^6)/4x(^-3)
Anna [14]

For this case we must find the quotient of the following expression:

\frac {-8x ^ 6} {4x ^ {- 3}} =

By definition of power properties we have:

a ^ {- 1} = \frac {1} {a ^ 1} = \frac {1} {a}

Rewriting the expression we have:

\frac{-8}{4}*x^6*x^3

By definition of multiplication of powers of the same base we have to put the same base and add the exponents:

-2x^{6+3}

Answer:

-2x ^ 9

I NEED HELP ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Debora [2.8K]
AAAAHHHH OKAY ILL TRY TO HELP!!!
So the Y intercept is where x =0 so just read that off the graph to get the coordinates (0,8). Then the slope is the same as the gradient so you do change in y/ change in x to get 2/4 = 1/2 or 0.5. Then to work out the equation you already have the gradient so substitute that in to get y = 1/2 x + c and then pick any point from the line ( eg (4,6)) and sub that in to get 6= 1/2 x 4 + c which is 6 = 2 + c so c is 4 so your overall equation is y= 1/2 x + 4 hope this helps :)

Madeline is working on a 500 piece puzzle she completed 0.65 of it what percent has she completed
S_A_V [24]
I'm quite confuse with the 0.65 number that you have given in your problem statement.=> if you're talking about the decimal value already that needs to be converted to percentage, then we can do this one: => 0.65 * 100% = 65% is the percentage that Madeline completed.But, if you're talking about the 0.65 count our of 100, then let's do this: => 0.65 / 500 = 0.0013=> 0.0013 * 100% = 0.13% out of 100%.<span>
