The truck in the lead is covering 50 miles in one hour.
The car behind is covering 70 miles in one hour.The car is covering 20 miles more than the truck in one hour.So the car gets 20 miles closer to the truck in one hour.
Since they were 20 miles apart at the beginning of the story, one hour is enough time for the car to catch up to the truck.

How many seconds did it take (after starting his descent) for the worker to hit the ground? Answer in units of s.
elena-14-01-66 [18.8K]

Answer:

This question is incomplete

Explanation:

The question is incomplete. However, to determine the time (in seconds) it took a worker to hit the ground from an elevated point. The speed the worker was coming with to the ground and the distance between the elevated point and the ground will have to be considered. Thus the formula to be used here will be

Speed (in meter per second) = distance (in meters) ÷ time (in seconds)

time (in seconds) = distance (in meters) ÷ speed (in meter per seconds)

Aleksandr-060686 [28]

Answer:6amperes

Explanation:

1/R=1/40 + 1/40

1/R=2/40

Cross multiplying we get

2R=40

Divide both sides by 2

2R/2 =40/2

R=20ohms
