How come the human body does not absorb water completely? In other words; why is it that even though the water could be the best

possible in terms of purity, the kidneys still need to filter it? What is there to filter if the water is completely clean and pure? Shouldn't all that water simply be absorbed by all the cells in our organism?

Where is MOST of the carbon on Earth stored?
Kay [80]

Most of the carbon in the earth is stored in the soil and air.

A) soil and air

Explanation:

Most of the carbon on earth is stored in rocks in the soil. There is approximately 2500 billion tons of carbon in the soil. The amount of carbon in the air is 800 billion tons and the amount of carbon found in plants and animals is 560 billion tons.

This clearly tells that most of the carbon in earth is stored in soil and air. The movement of carbon within the biosphere makes up the carbon cycle.

What is the final energy source that the muscles need in order to move? fat sugar ATP glycogen
Kaylis [27]

Answer:

The correct answer would be ATP.

ATP (adenosine triphosphate) is an energy currency of the cell, that is, it provides energy for all cellular activities.

Muscles also get energy in the form of ATP for movement.

Usually, simple sugar such as glucose is oxidized completely to produce ATP.

Then, ATP hydrolysis releases energy in the form of heat which is used by cells to perform various functions such as movement, repair, et cetera.
