The simplified form of the difference quotient of equation 9x^2+5x-1 . in the form 9x + 9h + 5.

In question for equation 9x^2+5x-1, simplified to difference quotient in the form of Ax+Bh+C where A, B, C are integers

<h3>What is equation?</h3>

equation is the relationship between variable and represented as  9x^2+5x-1  is example of polynomial equation.

We know that,
for difference quotient
=\frac{f(x+h)-f(x)}{h} \\\frac{9(x+h)^2+5(x+h)-1-9x^2-5x+1}{h}\\\frac{9h^2+9hx+5h}{h}\\9x+9h+5
While, compared with Ax+Bh+C
we have A=9, B=9, C=5.

Thus, The required value of difference Quotient in the form Ax+Bh+c where A, B and C is 9, 9 and 5 respectively

Why is the answer B? Plz explain.
polet [3.4K]
The original can be rewritten as \sqrt{-1*6}* \sqrt{-1*24}.  Because i^2 is equal to -1, we can replace the -1 in each radicand with i^2, like this:  \sqrt{i^2*6}* \sqrt{i^2*24}.  Now, i-squared is a perfect square that can be pulled out of each radicand as a single i.  i \sqrt{6}*i \sqrt{24}.  24 has a perfect square hidden in it.  4 * 6 = 24 and 4 is a perfect square.  So let's break this up, step by step.  i \sqrt{6}*i \sqrt{4*6}  and then  i \sqrt{6}*2i \sqrt{6}.  We will now multiply the i and the 2i, and multiply the square root of 6 times the square root of 6:  2i^2 \sqrt{36}.  36 itself is a perfect square because 6 * 6 = 36.  So we will do that simplification now.  2i^2(6).  Multiplying the 2 and the 6 gives us 12i^2.  But here we are back to the fact that i-squared is equal to -1, so 2(-1)(6) = -12.  See how that works?

Find the sum of 12a + 7b, −6a − 9, and 14a − 12b.
Ivan
The answer is:  [A]:  " 20a − 5b − 9 " .
______________________________________
Explanation:
_______________________________________________
  (12a <span>+ 7b) + (−6a − 9) + (14a − 12b) =

   12a </span><span>+ 7b  +  1(−6a − 9) + 1(14a − 12b) =
</span>
   12a + 7b + (1*-6a) + (1*-9) + (1*14a) + (1* -12b) =

    12a + 7b − 6a − 9 + 14a − 12b =  ?

Combine the "like terms:

12a − 6a  + 14a = 20a ;

7b − 12b =  - 5b ;

and then we have "-9" ;
_____________________________________________________
So, write as:   " 20a − 5b − 9 " ;  which is:  Answer choice:  [A].
