Answer: Subtraction Property of Equality

Step-by-step explanation:

- the subtraction property of equality is the rule that when you subtract the same number to or from both sides of an equation and get an equivalent equation

__________________________________________________________

- for this equation you would subtract 5.2 from the left-side of the equation and subtract it from 35.2 on the right side of the equation

      - this is to isolate n

- basically 2.5n = 30 since n is a variable and that number multiplied by 2.5 will equal 30

- so the new equation would be 2.5n = 30

- so then:  \frac{n}{2.5} = \frac{30}{2.5}  so n = 12

hope this helps :)

Answer:

See below

Step-by-step explanation:

Start by subtracting 5.2 from both sides of the equation

so  "subtraction property of equality "    I suppose ......

then the next step would be divide both sides by 2.5

which would be division property of equality

Hi. I need help wih this question (see image). Please show workings.<br>
Kipish [7]

Answer:

\frac{dy}{dx} = 12x³ - 6x² - 7

Step-by-step explanation:

Differentiate each term using the power rule

\frac{d}{dx} (ax^{n} ) = nax^{n-1}

Given

y = 3x^{4} - 2x³ - 7x + 5, then

\frac{dy}{dx} = 4.3x^{4-1} - 3.2x^{3-1} - 7x^{1-1} + 0

   = 12x³ - 6x² - 7

What is the answer to 2/3 (x +2) -1/3(x-2)
Mrac [35]
2/3 (x+2) -1/3 (x-2)
= 2/3*x +2/3*2 -1/3x -1/3(-2) (distributive property)
= 2/3x + 4/3 -1/3x +2/3
= (2/3x -1/3x) + (4/3 + 2/3)
= 1/3x + 2

The final answer is 1/3x+2.

Hope this helps~

How do you show sentence as an inequality
S_A_V [24]
There's different ways you can express inequalities as a sentence.

For example, let's try 6a < 36

in sentence form this would be

The product of 6 and a number a is less than 36.

Another example, 5 + b > 10

in sentence form,

A number b plus 5 is greater than 10.

The possibilities are infinite.
