First I find x using the bottom angles that equal 180
3x + 3x + (vertical angle ) 3x
9x=180
X=20
Now I find y using the top angles that equal 180
(Vertical angle) 3x + 3x + y = 180
Substitute value of x in equation
3(20) + 3(20) + y = 180
60+60 + y =180
Combine like terms to isolate y
y =180-60-60
y=60
