If I'm reading this right, personal factors that can affect your choice in physical activities could be a lack of motivation, you could be tired, or medically speaking maybe asthma.

Explanation:

If you have no motivation, you'll want to do less, same as if you were tired, if you're tired you'll want to do the bare minimum. Same with asthma (kind of) asthma. if you have asthma you won't be physically capable of doing harder physical activities
