To what extent do cabinet heads control the bureaucracy?
Pavel [41]

Even the experts can't agree on the total number of federal government agencies, commissions, and departments.

Most estimates suggest there are probably more than 2,000 of these. They each have an area of specialization — some much broader than others — but their duties often overlap, making administration more difficult. To complicate things even more, many agencies have counterparts at the state and local level. Its size, complexity, and overlapping responsibilities leave the federal bureaucracy open to constant attempts to reorganize and streamline.

Congress has the power to create, organize, and disband all federal agencies. Most of them are under the control of the President, although few of them actually have direct contact with the White House. So, the bureaucracy has two masters — Congress and the President. The bureaucracy generally falls into four broad types: Cabinet departments, government corporations, independent agencies, and regulatory commissions

How is global perspectives related to Urbanisation
Kruka [31]

Answer:

Abstract

Much of the literature about globalization exaggerates the degree of novelty. In this review, we concentrate on claims about what has changed about cities under late capitalism and globalization. Although we suggest that cities have long been influenced by global forces, we conclude that the roles of cities in the global system have changed considerably as a result of the time-space compression made possible by new transportation, communication, and organizational technologies. After discussing what the global perspective means within anthropology, and how it affects urban anthropological research, our review concentrates on three complex issues. First is whether the global factory and increasing knowledge-intensivity have decreased or increased the utility of the intermediary or brokerage roles that cities play. Second, we examine changes in how people live in globalizing cities. Third, we consider the implications of the construction and maintenance of relationships across borders for processes of citizenship, affiliation, and transnational social movements.

Mohammad is an cashier at Targo Corp, and a practicing Muslim. His religious beliefs require that he take 15-minute breaks three
Vanyuwa [196]

Answer:

Targo can be able to legally restrict Mohammad's religious practices during working hours because, in the employment agreement letter signed between Mohammad and Tango, there was no where it was stated that he has time for his prayers but rather 1 hour break for his afternoon meal.

The defense that Tango would apply to limit his time away from the register to pray would be based solely on his contract or employment letter binding on both of them. It was stated on the number of hours to work each day which would get reduced if Mohammad takes time to pray trice each day.
