The velocity 2.5 m above the ground will be 49.07 m/sec.

What is spring force?

The force required to extend or compress a spring by some distance scales linearly concerning that distance is known as the spring force. Its formula is;

F = kx

The formula for force is;

F=ma

Equating both the equation;

ma = kx

a=kx/m

a=( 185 N/m × 1.38 m) / 0.53

a = 481.6 m/s²

The speed is found by Newton's third equation of motion;

v²=u²+2as

v²=0+2as

v²=2 × 481.6 m/s² × 2.5 m

v = 49.07 m/sec

Hence the velocity 2.5 m above the ground will be 49.07 m/sec.

To get a feeling for inertial forces discuss the familiar cases of accelerating in a car in a straight line while increasing or
inn [45]

Answer:

Explanation:

When we accelerate in a car on a straight path we tend to lean backward because our lower body part which is directly in contact with the seat of the car gets accelerated along with it but the upper the upper body experiences this force later on due to its own inertia. This force is accordance with Newton's second law of motion and is proportional to the rate of change of momentum of the upper body part.

Conversely we lean forward while the speed decreases and the same phenomenon happens in the opposite direction.

While changing direction in car the upper body remains in its position due to inertia but the lower body being firmly in contact with the car gets along in the direction of the car, seems that it makes the upper body lean in the opposite direction of the turn.

On abrupt change in the state of motion the force experienced is also intense in accordance with the Newton's second law of motion.

The mass of an electron is about 9.11 × 10-31 kg. Write this as a whole number
galina1969 [7]

Answer:

1 electron has a mass of 9.1 X 10-31 kg. How many electrons n does it take to make 1 kg?

(1 e)/(9.1 X 10-31 kg) = n/(1 kg)

So, n = 1.10 X 1030 electrons

Each electron has a charge of 1.6 X 10-19 C, where C stands for Coulombs. So, the n electrons have a charge of q = ne = (1.10 X 1030 electrons) X (1.6 X 10-19 C/electron) = 1.76 X 1011 C. This is an insane charge!

The electrostatic force between two of these 1kg bundles of electrons is given by Coulomb's law:

F = k qq/r2 = (8.99 X 109)(1.76 X 1011 C)2/(1000 m)2 = 2.78 X 1026 N.
