My answer would be D because the sentence said "When beginning". At the beginning of training you don't want to do to much. Because you are more than likely not used to that kind of work out. So you need to rest your first 3 weeks on one to two then move up to two to three. If you jog and so some other workout activity's before you start then you could probably do B two to three. But If you are not used to working out a lot then I would stick to D for a while so you can get your body used to the workouts.
