Assuming that the rest of the genome is normal, cells with an inactivating mutation in one copy of a tumor-suppressor gene with the second copy of the gene still wild-type are most likely to show no changes in DNA sequence.

Tumor suppressor genes are normally present in the body. These function properly and keep processing the cell growth and cell death (apoptosis). It can also suppress tumor development. If both copies of a tumor suppressor gene is mutated then only it cause a change in cell growth and form a tumor. So these are recessive in nature. And if only one gene is mutated then it shows no mutation. When a tumor suppressor gene is inactivated by mutation, the protein it encodes is not produced or does not function properly, and as a result, uncontrolled cell division can occur. Such mutations can contribute to the development of cancer.

How is nitrogen from the atmosphere the abiotic part of the ecosystem converted in to the biotic part of the ecosystem in organi
AveGali [126]

Solution:

Nitrogen is important because, it helps us grow crops, and it produces grass for animal. It comes from lightning and is named nitrogen fixation

By which free nitrogen (N2) is extracted from the atmosphere and converted (fixed) into nitrogen compounds which are plant nutrients (fertilizer). In nature, this process is carried out by certain bacteria (present in the root nodules of legumes such as beans and peas), blue-green algae, and the lightning flash.

Thus the Nitrogen form the atmosphere the biotic part to the ecosystem converted into the biotic part.

How is loss of biodiversity connected to extinction of organisms?
Mariana [72]

Answer:

In an ecosystem, everything is connected. All ecosystems have some form of food chain and symbiosis. This means that animals rely on each other for life. If one animal were to die then others would be negatively affected. Overall, this means that when biodiversity is lost it becomes harder for organisms to survive. For example, pandas rely on bamboo to survive. So, when it gets cut down and destroyed the pandas also suffer. Additionally, in ecosystems, a wide variety of organisms helps other living creates have more forms of survival. This shows how important biodiversity is.

one of the most important rain forest predators, attacking a wide range of different primates, is the monkey-eating eagle. we know this because all forest primates have an identical alarm call that means, essentially, "Eagle!"

<h3>What are primates?</h3>

Primates are those forest animals that has highly developed brain and backbone.

Some of them are predators while others are source of food for predators known as preys.

Example of such predators are the monkey eating eagles which are capable of hunting monkeys as their preys.
