What is boundary layer thickness What do you mean by laminar and turbulent boundary layers What is laminar sublayer?
vodka [1.7K]

The distance between the wall's normal to the point where the flow velocity has virtually attained the "asymptotic" velocity is the boundary layer thickness. Laminar and turbulent boundary layer flow are two distinct flow types. flow in a laminar boundary layer.

What is a boundary layer?

 • The thin layer of fluid that forms immediately around a bounded surface as a result of fluid flowing over the surface is known as a boundary layer.
 • A no-slip boundary condition is created as a result of the fluid and wall interaction (zero velocity at the wall).
 • After that, the flow velocity above the surface steadily rises until it reaches the bulk flow velocity again.
 • The term "velocity boundary layer" refers to the thin layer of fluid whose velocity has not yet recovered to that of the main flow.

The turbulent boundary layer has swirls or "eddies," whereas the laminar boundary has a fairly smooth flow.

 • Laminar flow is less stable than turbulent flow but produces less skin friction drag.
 • The area of a predominantly turbulent flow that is close to a no-slip boundary and where viscous shear stresses play a significant role is known as the laminar sublayer, also known as the viscous sublayer.

What problems do you believe have resulted from equal employment opportunity legislation?
m_a_m_a [10]

The problems that have arisen from the equal employment opportunity legislation are that there will be a decrease in diversity.

Equal employment opportunity means there should not be any dispensaries while providing employment to people. There will always be a group of people who will be selected from the interviewees. This will decrease the diversity that is required in an organization. So equal opportunities do not come automatically but will have to be worked at.

Many organizations may require people that have certain skills to perform the job. So then in these cases, equal employment opportunities cannot be provided. However, the main feature or fact is that the employees and employers must work together to create such a culture in which there is no discrimination of any kind and everyone gets equal opportunity.

Why do you think many Israelis oppose giving up settlements and occupied lands in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip?
astra-53 [7]

Answer:

I think many Israelis oppose giving up settlements and occupied lands in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip because, settlements make what Israelis and Palestinians call "new realities on the ground." Palestinian people group are part separated and their association with the land debilitated, while Jewish people group put down roots in an area implied for Palestinians. As a result, it obscures or obliges the limits of any future Palestinian state. For certain pilgrims, this is the point: they need the West Bank a completely fused as Israeli area and are attempting to get that going.
