All of the following are true about in-database processing technology EXCEPT Group of answer choices it pushes the algorithms to
vekshin1

All of the aforementioned are true about in-database processing technology except: D. it is the same as in-memory storage technology.

<h3>What is an in-database processing technology?</h3>

An in-database processing technology can be defined as a type of database technology that is designed and developed to allow the processing of data to be performed within the database, especially by building an analytic logic into the database itself.

This ultimately implies that, an in-database processing technology is completely different from in-memory storage technology because this used for the storage of data.

Write the code to produce a for loop that counts down from 20 to 0 by 2’s and prints the number each time it goes through the lo
yulyashka [42]

Explanation:

Count-controlled for loop (Three-expression for loop)

This is by far the most common type. This statement is the one used by C. The header of this kind of for loop consists of a three-parameter loop control expression. Generally it has the form:

for (A; Z; I)

A is the initialisation part, Z determines a termination expression and I is the counting expression, where the loop variable is incremented or dcremented. An example of this kind of loop is the for-loop of the programming language C:

for (i=0; i <= n; i++)

This kind of for loop is not implemented in Python!

Numeric Ranges

This kind of for loop is a simplification of the previous kind. It's a counting or enumerating loop. Starting with a start value and counting up to an end value, like for i = 1 to 100

Python doesn't use this either.

Vectorized for loops

They behave as if all iterations are executed in parallel. This means, for example, that all expressions on the right side of assignment statements get evaluated before the assignments.

Iterator-based for loop

Finally, we come to the one used by Python. This kind of a for loop iterates over an enumeration of a set of items. It is usually characterized by the use of an implicit or explicit iterator. In each iteration step a loop variable is set to a value in a sequence or other data collection. This kind of for loop is known in most Unix and Linux shells and it is the one which is implemented in Python.

Example of a simple for loop in Python:

>>> languages = ["C", "C++", "Perl", "Python"]

>>> for x in languages:

...     print(x)

...

C

C++

Perl

Python

Requests to access specific cylinders on a disk drive arrive in this order: 24, 20, 4, 40, 6, 38, and 12, and the seek arm is in
GarryVolchara [31]

Answer:

The time required to seek using First come,first served algorithm is 876 milliseconds.

The time required to seek using Shortest Seek Time First algorithm is 360 milliseconds.

The time required to seek using LOOK (initialing moving upwards) algorithm is 348 milliseconds.

Explanation:

Part a,b : First-come, first-served:

The order of the cylinders is as 10, 22, 20, 2, 40, 6, 38

10 + 12 + 2 + 18 + 38 + 34 + 32 = 146 cylinders = 876 milliseconds.

ii) Shortest Seek Time First:

The order of the cylinders is as 20, 22, 10, 6, 2, 39, 40

0 + 2 + 12 + 4 + 4 + 36 + 2 = 60 cylinders = 360 milliseconds.

iii) LOOK (initialing moving upwards):

The order of the cylinders is as 20, 22, 38, 40, 10, 6, 2

0 + 2 + 16 + 2 + 30 + 4 + 4 = 58 cylinders = 348 milliseconds.
