Genital herpes is a sexually spread disease (STD). This STD effects herpetic sores, which are severe blisters that can crack open and leak fluid. About 16 percent of people within the ages of 14 and 49 have this STD. The infected site usually begins to itch, or tingle, before the original appearance of blisters and cause painful sores.
