A partial reinforcement schedule that reinforces behavior after a set period of time elapses is a fixed interval schedule

In fixed-interval schedules, the initial response is rewarded only after a predetermined period of time has passed. High response rates are produced by this schedule near the end of the interval, but slower responses are produced right after the reinforcer is given. for instance, after a 30-second break, in a lab setting, rewarding a rat with a lab pellet for the first bar press.

The frequency or pace at which reinforcement is given for a response is referred to as a schedule. Given that an interval is a period of time, it follows that the pace of delivery is influenced by how much time has passed. Last but not least, fixed implies that the timing of delivery is established at a foreseeable and constant schedule.

Read the scenario and social media post.
navik [9.2K]

According to the given paragraph, the statement which best describes the source's point of view is that it is biased in favor of pesticides.

Damien has read the post that clearly shows the advantages of pesticides. It states that pesticides are very important for our food because they kill beetles and many other unwanted insects.

However, the post does not state many disadvantages of pesticides. For instance, it does not show how pesticides might harm our environment in the long run and how some of the pesticides are posing a great threat to animal species.

Hence, the correct option is C (the third one).

She is demonstrating the scientific attitude of skepticism. Skepticism is the way toward applying reason and basic deduction to decide legitimacy. It's the way toward finding a bolstered conclusion, not the defense of a biased conclusion. It's in this manner mistaken to state "Doubters don't trust in phantoms."
