Coulomb law  depicts the mathematical relationship between the electric force and the charged objects.

<h3>What is Coulomb law?</h3>

This law states that the electric force is directly proportional to the product of the charged objects.

The electric force is also inversely proportional to the square of the distance between the charges and is denoted below:

F= kq1q2/ r²

where :

F=electric force

k=Coulomb constant

q1, q2=charges

r=distance of separation

the skate shop owner wants 30 percent of each order to include longboards. he wants to know how many longboards to order out of
allsm [11]

Answer:

15

Explanation:

The question is essentially asking 30% of 50.

to get 30 percent you first need to find out 10 percent.

10 percent is calculated by dividing 50 by 10, giving you 5.

you then need to get 30 percent from the 10 percent just calculated.

to do so, you need to times 10 percent by 3, therefore have to time 5 buy 3, leaving you with 15

A 50 kg stcel ball is hanging from two cables that make 120 degrees with each
FrozenT [24]

Answer:

T1 = 490.5 [N], T2 = 490.5[N]

Explanation:

First, we must draw a free body diagram of the steel ball hanging and the two wires holding it as well as the angle forming the wires between them.

The free-body diagram can be seen in the attached image.

As the cables are symmetrical with respect to the vertical axis, the force in cables 1 and 2 is equal, so when performing a force sum equal to zero on the Y-axis, we can find the force value of any cable.

The solution of the equations can be seen in the attached image

If an airplane were traveling westward with a thrust force of 450 N and there was a headwind (drag) of 200 N, what would the res
Marat540 [252]

Answer:

The resulting net force on the airplane would be 250N.

Explanation:

It would be 250N because to find the amount of Newtons you would have to do 450 minus 200. 450 minus 200 equals 250. You can check by adding 200 plus 250 and it equals 450 the which is the "thrust".

Na figura, um bloco de massa igual a 5Kg é abandonado em repouso em um plano inclinado. Supondo que os coeficientes de atrito es
Law Incorporation [45]

The figure mentioned on the question is in the attachment.

Answer: a) P_{x} = - 38.35N

b) F_{N} = 30.5 N

c) F_{f} = 27.45 N

d) a = - 13.16 m/s²

Explanation: A block on an inclined plane has 3 forces acting on it:

  • Force due to gravity F_{g} = m.g;
  • Normal Force due to the plane;
  • Force of Friction F_{f} = µ.N;

Since the plane is inclined, Normal Force is equal the y-component of the force due to gravity and Force of friction and the x-component of the force due to gravity are opposite forces.

The second attachment ilustrate the forces acting on the block.

Calculating:

A) The magnitude of the x-component of Force due to gravity:

According to the second image:

P_{x} = P.sinθ

P_{x} = 5.9.8.sin(36.8)

P_{x} = - 38.35 N

B) F_{N} = P_{y} = m.g.cosθ

F_{N} = 5.9.8.cos(36.8)

F_{N} = 30.5 N

C) F_{f} = 0.9.30.5

F_{f} = 27.45 N

D) For the acceleration, use Newton's Law: F_{R} = m . a

If there is movement, it is only on x-axis, so the net force is:

P_{x} - F_{f}  = m.a

- 38.35 - 27.45 = 5a

a = - 13.16 m/s²

The value of acceleration shows there is <u>no</u> <u>movement</u> on the x-axis due to the friction.
