They are geometric isomers, describes two molecules the best.

Geometric isomers & Structural Isomers

Different compounds, known as isomers, can exist with the same chemical formula. Geometric isomers are substances with distinct configurations of atoms in space, whereas structural isomers are substances with the same chemical formula that are bound differently.

Geometric isomers:

Geometric isomers are molecules having the same chemical formula but distinct atomic configurations. Different physical and chemical characteristics are present in geometric isomers.

The intriguing property of geometric isomers is that their groups cannot independently change locations.

Structural isomers:

Structural isomers are substances having the same chemical formula but distinct atom bonds. Examples of structural isomers are the chemicals n-butane and iso-butane, which were previously discussed.

Both covalent-network solids and ionic solids can have melting points well in excess of room temperature, and both can be poor c
Reil [10]

Answer:

1. Ionic solids dissolve in water.

2. Ionic solid is a better conductor compared to covalent solid.

Explanation:

1. Ionic solids dissolves in water because the water molecules hydrate the ions. When ionic compounds dissolve in water, they break apart into the ions that make them up through a process called dissociation.

Whereas covalent solids don't dissolve in water, instead making a separate layer on the water's surface.

For example table salt that is NaCl is an ionic solid. When we add the salt in water it completely dissolves in water and disappears on the other hand oil is a covalent solid, when we add it in water it does not dissolve and forms a layer on water surface.

2.Ionic solids conducts electricity when it dissolves in water. Because in aqueous form there are ions which conducts electricity.

But covalent solids does not conduct in any form neither in pure form nor in aqueous form because they are bond with shared electrons having no ions which conducts electricity.

Katena32 [7]
Hydrogen has an atomic mass of about 1 and It contains one proton, orbited by a single electron. Helium has an atomic mass of approximately 4 and contains of 2 protons and 2 neutrons, orbited by 4 electrons. But all of this is irrelevant because luminosity is related to gravity, and that mass would identical, luminosity would be near identical. *insert luminosity relation equation here*
