Darla spent $120.37 on groceries in January, $108.45 in February, and $114.86 in March. What was the average monthly cost of Dar
kari74 [83]
In order to find an average, you have to add all the numbers and divide by the number of things you added.

120.37 + 108.45 + 114.86 = 343.68
343.68/3 = 114.56

She spent an average of $114.56 each month on groceries.

3x+2=5x What is the answer for this solving equations with variables on each side
Yanka [14]
3x +2= 5x
-3x
2= 2x
/2
1= x
So first I got all the x’s on one side and the whole numbers on the other side. So we had 2 on one side and 2x on the other. From there we divided by the number of x’s which was 2 so we can get one x only. So 2/2= 1 so x =1
