Y is 7.5
A easy way to do it is simply graph it or divide it!
For instance, since x=5 is half of x=10, we would just divide 15 by 2 to get Y which is 7.5

A triangle has sides measuring 7 centimeters and 13 centimeters that form an angle measuring 44°. Which of these is CLOSEST to t
Oliga [24]

Answer:

9.3 centimeters

Step-by-step explanation:

If the length of the third side of the triangle is c, then according to the Law of Cosines, c2 = 72 + 132 – 2(7)(13)(cos 44°). The value of c2 can be simplified to approximately 49 + 169 – 130.9198, or 87.0802, using a calculator. By taking the square root of 87.0802, the length of the third side of the triangle comes out to be approximately 9.3 centimeters.

Factor 3xy+21x+9 completely
inn [45]

Answer:

Hence the second option is the correct answer

Step-by-step explanation:

In this problem we are required to factor out the given terms as stated in the expression, what is obtainable is that we look for terms(greatest terms) that are common to all the terms in the expression and factor it out.

here is a way to do it

given the following expression

3xy+21x+9

From the expression above we can see that 3 is common to all the terms of the expression so that we have

3(xy+7x+3)

hence the second option is the correct answer

This equation shows how the time required to ring up a customer is related to the number of items being purchased. t = 4p + 20 T
konstantin123 [22]

Answer:

6 items are being purchased

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that variable p represents the number of items being purchased, and the variable t represents the time required to ring up the customer, If it takes 44 seconds to ring up a customer then the number of items being purchased may be computed by substituting the value of t into the given equation

t = 4p + 20.

Using t = 44

44 = 4p + 20

collect like terms or subtract 20 from both sides

44 - 20 = 4p

24 = 4p

Divide both sides by 4

24/4 = p

p = 6
