⟨A = 7•x + 40° and ⟨B = 3•x + 112°

From a possible diagram of the question, ⟨A = ⟨B, which gives;

  • x = 18°
  • ⟨A = 166°

<h3>How can the value of <em>x </em>and the measure of ⟨A be found?</h3>

Given;

⟨A = 7•x + 40°

⟨B = 3•x + 112°

In the diagram from a similar question posted online, we have;

  • ⟨A and ⟨B are corresponding angles

Corresponding angles formed by parallel lines having a common transversal are congruent, therefore;

  • ⟨A and ⟨B are congruent

Which gives;

  • ⟨A = ⟨B

7•x + 40° = 3•x + 112°

7•x - 3•x = 112° - 40° = 72°

7•x - 3•x = 4•x = 72°

x = 72° ÷ 4 = 18°

Therefore;

  • x = 18°

Which gives;

⟨A = 7•x + 40°

⟨A = 7 × 18 + 40° = 166°

  • The measure of angle ⟨A = 166°

Pleaseee Help! It's Algebra II- Equations: Point Slope.
kenny6666 [7]

point slope form is y-y1=m(x-x1)

from (6,1) y1 = 1 and x1 = 6

slope is given as -3

 so you should have y=1 =-3(x-6)

Volume is Length x width x height divided by 3. You have the length and the width. which equals 24. (6x4). The volume that is present is 72... the last thing you do in the equation is divide by three so multiply 72 by 3 and get 216. This is the LxWxH. Like I said before you have the L and the W, which is 24. You would divide 24 from 216. The Height is 9cm.

Write the ratio of the first measurement to the second measurement. Compare in inches 4 feet to 60 inches
Lunna [17]

Answer:

4:5

Step-by-step explanation:

Recall that 12 inches =1 foot

Therefore 4 feet = 12*4=48 inches

\frac{4ft}{60 \: inch}  =  \frac{48 \: inches}{60 \: inches}  =  \frac{4 \times 12}{5 \times 12}  =  \frac{4}{5}

The ratio of 4 feet to 60 inches is 4:5

This ratio is in the reduced form, we cannot simplify further.
