Gas must be increased to 706 L.

STP the pressure is 1atm and the temperature is 273K.

Therefore,

P1 V1 = P2 V2

V2= (P1V1T2)/T1P2

V2 = (3×250×273)/(290×1)

V2 = 706 L

What are the 3 main factors that influence pressure?

The 3 main factors that affect barometric (air) pressure are:

  1.    Temperature.
  2.    Altitude or Elevation.
  3.    Moisture or water vapour.

How does pressure affect gas pressure?

The pressure and volume of a gas are inversely proportional. Therefore as you increase the pressure on a gas the volume decreases. This means that as the pressure on a gas increases the gas has less space to spread out and the particles are closer together.

What is the pressure of a fixed volume of hydrogen gas at 38.8°C if it has a pressure of 1.36 atm at 15.0°C?
Rainbow [258]
Hello There! ^_^

Your question: What is the pressure of a fixed volume of hydrogen gas at 38.8°C if it has a pressure of 1.36 atm at 15.0°C..?

Your answer: P1/ T1= P2/ T2

                     Change C to Kelvin

                     273+ C= K

                     38.3+ 273= 311K

                      15.0+ 273= 288K

                       2.38/ 288= P2/ 311.3

                        740.894= 288 (P2)

                         P2= 2.57 atm.

Thus, you got you answer!

  Hope this helps!

How can the speed of solvent molecules be slowed down? A. By increasing the temperature B. By increasing the surface area of the
SVEN [57.7K]

Answer:

Explanation:

If by speed ,you mean the rate at which they collide with each other then yes the answer would be

By decreasing the temperature

Since we already know thattemperature is the average kinetic energy of the molecules and increasing temperature will increase the motion of the solvent molecules and an decrease in temperature will decrease in the motion of solvent molecules

A good definition of snow and how snow is important to the water cycle.
IRISSAK [1]
Snow is the result of moisture and low temperatures colliding; when they collide, they become tiny ice crystals. When ice crystals stick to one another, they become snowflakes. Snow is important to the water cycle because when they precipitate to the earth, they start to melt on surfaces warmer than themselves. The melted result becomes water, and when the water either seeps into the ground or flows into a source of water nearby, the water cycle's process repeats all over again.

The definition of chemical is “any substances that has a definite composition.” What does “definite composition” mean?
mezya [45]

Law of definite composition states that the elements in a given compound are always combined in the same proportion by mass. This law form the basis for the definition of a chemical compound.
