Answer:

37.18 N

Explanation:

Given:

Work (W) = 483.3 J

Distance (d) = 13 m

We can determine the value of the force as follows:

W = F.d

We replacing:

483.3 = F. 13

F = 483.3 ÷ 13

F = 37.18 N

The force on the block is 37.18 N

cestrela7 [59]

The change in potential energy is 6324 Joules while the power is 263.5 Watts.

Potential energy is the amount of energy possessed by a body due to its position relative to another object.

a) Potential energy = weight * height = 510 N * 4 flight * 3.1 m per flight

Potential energy = 6324 Joules

b) Power = Energy / time = 6324 Joules / 22 seconds = 263.5 Watts

The change in potential energy is 6324 Joules while the power is 263.5 Watts.

Okay so I understand none of this. Can someone please explain how to do this to me?
Veronika [31]
According to newtons 3rd law, every force has an equal and opposite force, which means that the answers for a and b should be the same.
you might be knowing the equation of F which is

F = G(m1)(m2)/(r^2) (<em> this formula may be wrong, look it up on google)</em>
G is the universal gravitation constant, just google for the exact value, the value should be something like 6.67E-11
m1 is the mass of an apple
m2 is the mass of an orange
r is the distance between them ( should be squared)

a) E=Nt=100*(4*3600)=1440000 J

b) E=1200*(5*60)=360000 J

c) Q=E*(100-1.8)/100=1414080 J

OLga [1]

The ideal concept for solving this question is based on the Doppler effect, for which it is indicated that the source's listening frequency changes as the distance and the relative speed between the receiver and the transmitter are also changed. However, if the relative velocity between the two objects is zero as in the particular case presented (since both travel at 75km / h) we have that there will be no change in frequency.

Therefore the frequency that I hear and that my sister would listen would be the same.
