Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

B) a) 2, 5 , 8 , 11 ......

First term = 2

Second term = 5

Find the common difference.

Common difference = second term - first term

                                 =5 - 2

                                 = 3

Each term is obtained by adding 3 to the previous term.

11 + 3 = 14

14 + 3 = 17

17 +3  = 20

The next three terms are: 14 , 17 , 20

3) 1,4,16,64.....

This is a geometric sequence. Find the common ratio.

Common ratio = second term ÷ first term

                         = 4 ÷ 1

                         = 4

Each term is obtained by multiplying previous term by 4.

64 *4 = 256

256 *4 = 1024

1024 * 4 = 4096

The next three terms are: 256, 1024 , 4096.

4) 60, 48 , 36 , 24, .....

This is an arithmetic sequence.Find the common difference.

Common difference = 48 - 60

                                  = -12

Each term is obtained by subtracting 12 ( adding -12) with the previous term.

24 - 12 = 12

12 - 12 = 0

0 - 12  = -12

The next three terms are: 12 , 0 , -12.

5) 1 , 4 , 9, 16,25 ,....

 1, 2², 3², 4², 5².....

6² = 6*6 = 36

7² = 7*7 = 49

8² =8 * 8 = 64

The next three terms are: 36, 49 , 64.

It's a pattern- for example question 1 is adding 3 with each numer.
2 + 3 = 5
5+ 3= 8
8 + 3= 11
11+ 3 = 14
And so on

You gotta find the pattern and continue it :)

sleet_krkn [62]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Answer:

(-5, 1)

Explanation:

We are given a kite on the graph which is rotated 180° clockwise about the origin and then reflected over the Y axis followed by reflection over the X axis.

We are to find the coordinates of point A after the complete transformation.

A (-5, 1)

When a point is rotated 180° clockwise about the origin, the signs of its coordinates change.

A (-5, 1) ---> A' (5, -1) - after clockwise rotation of 180 degrees about origin

Then this point A' is reflected over the Y axis where the y coordinate remains the same but x coordinate changes its sign.

A' (5, -1) ---> A'' (-5, -1) - after reflection through y axis

Now this point A'' is reflected over the X axis where the x coordinate remains the same while y coordinates changes its sign.

A'' (-5, -1) ---> A''' (-5, 1) - after complete transformation
