The organic product formed when the ethanoic acid and diethylamine compounds undergo a substitution reaction is N, N- diethyl ethanamide.

<h3>What is Substitution reaction? </h3>

Substitution reaction is a reaction in which one group substitute the functional group of another organic compound or it can also be defined as a reaction that involves the replacement of one atom or group of atoms of a compound with another atom or group of atom.

<h3>Types of Substitution reaction</h3>

Substitution Reactions are basically of two types:

nucleophilic reaction and electrophilic reactions. These two types of substitution reactions differ in the types of atom that is attached to its original molecule. In the nucleophilic reactions, the atom is electron-rich species, on the other hand, in the electrophilic reaction, the atom is an electron-deficient species.

Thus, we concluded that the organic product formed when the ethanoic acid and diethylamine compounds undergo a substitution reaction is N, N- diethyl ethanamide.

2C4H10+13O2--&gt;8CO2+10H2O Using the predicted and balanced equation, How many Liters of CO2 can be produced from 150 grams of
Anna11 [10]

Answer:  233 L of CO_2 will be produced from 150 grams of  C_4H_{10}

Explanation:

To calculate the moles :

\text{Moles of solute}=\frac{\text{given mass}}{\text{Molar Mass}}  \text{Moles of} C_4H_{10}=\frac{150g}{58g/mol}=2.59moles

The balanced chemical equation is:

2C_4H_{10}+13O_2(g)\rightarrow 8CO_2+10H_2O

According to stoichiometry :

2 moles of C_4H_{10} produce =  8 moles of CO_2

Thus 2.59 moles of C_4H_{10} will produce=\frac{8}{2}\times 2.59=10.4moles  of CO_2

Volume of CO_2=moles\times {\text {Molar volume}}=10.4moles\times 22.4mol/L=233L

Thus 233 L of CO_2 will be produced from 150 grams of  C_4H_{10}

Gnoma [55]
Use blue litmus paper. This is an indicator that can safely determine whether it is a base or an acid by changing color in response to the substance. This color indicates whether it is an acid or a base. Refer to the pH scale to see if the substance is basic or acidic.

What can you conclude about the relative magnitudes of the absolute values of ΔHsoluteΔHsolute and ΔHhydrationΔHhydration, where
olganol [36]

Absolute value describes the distance of a number on the number line from 0 without considering which direction from zero the number lies. The absolute value of a number is never negative. The absolute value of 5 is 5.

<u>Explanation:</u>

The heat energy released when new bonds are made between the ions and water molecules is known as the hydration enthalpy of the ion. The hydration enthalpy is the enthalpy change when 1 mole of gaseous ions dissolve in sufficient water to give an infinitely dilute solution. Hydration enthalpies are always negative.

Heat of hydration or enthalpy of hydration of ions corresponds to the heat that is released by hydration of one mole of ions at a constant pressure. The more the ion is hydrated, the more heat is released. Degree of hydration depends on the size and charge of ion.
