200 gallons of regular gas and 80 gallons of premium gas were sold.

Let the amount of regular gas sold be x gallons. So, the amount of premium gas sold will be (280 - x).

Now, forming the equation using the given information, to find the amount of each type of gallon.

Equation -

2.10x + 2.90(280 - x) = 652

Performing multiplication with values inside bracket in Left Hand Side

2.10x + 812 - 2.90x = 652

Rewriting the equation -

812 - 652 = 2.90x - 2.10x

Performing subtraction

160  = 0.8x

Rewriting the equation according to x

x = 160÷0.8

Performing division to find the value of x

x = 200

So, 200 gallons of regular gas was sold.

Amount of premium gas sold = 280 - 200

Performing subtraction

Amount of premium gas sold = 80 gallons

Hence, 200 gallons of regular gas and 80 gallons of premium gas was sold.

The SAT Reasoning Test (formerly called the Scholastic Aptitude Test) is perhaps the most widely used standardized test for coll
mihalych1998 [28]

Given Information:

Mean SAT score = μ = 1500

Standard deviation of SAT score = σ = 3 00

Required Information:

Minimum score in the top 10% of this test that qualifies for the scholarship = ?

Answer:

\bar{x} = 1884\\

Step-by-step explanation:

What is Normal Distribution?

We are given a Normal Distribution, which is a continuous probability distribution and is symmetrical around the mean. The shape of this distribution is like a bell curve and most of the data is clustered around the mean. The area under this bell shaped curve represents the probability.

We want to find out the minimum score that qualifies for the scholarship by scoring in the top 10% of this test.

P(X > \bar{x} )= P(Z > \bar{x}) = 0.10\\P(X < \bar{x} )= P(Z < \bar{x}) = 1 - 0.10\\P(X < \bar{x} )= P(Z < \bar{x}) = 0.90\\

The z-score corresponding to the probability of 0.90 is 1.28 (from the z-table)

\bar{x} = \mu + z(\sigma) \\\bar{x} = 1500 + 1.28(300)\\\bar{x} = 1500 + 384\\\bar{x} = 1884\\

Therefore, you need to score 1884 in order to  qualify for the scholarship.

How to use z-table?

Step 1:

In the z-table, find the probability value of 0.90 and note down the value of the that row which is 1.2

Step 2:

Then look up at the top of z-table and note down the value of the that column which is 0.08

Step 3:

Finally, note down the intersection of step 1 and step 2 which is 1.28

6. 200 (wrong)

7. 48 (correct)

9. 150 (correct)

10. -55 (correct)

Step-by-step explanation:

(2x5)x(9÷3)+4=10x3+4=30+4=34

4(25x8÷2)+3-5=4(200÷2)+3-5=4x100+3-5=400+3-5=403-5=398

-10x20-30(5)=-200-150=-350

5x10-30=50-30=20

4(50-20÷4)+20=4(50-5)+20=4x45+20=180+20=200

3x4(20÷5)=12x4=48

-20(50x2)+5(200)=-20x100+5x200= -2000+1000=-1000

20x5+70-20=100+70-20=170-20=150

-5+10x(-5)==5+-50=-55

The length of a regulation soccer field is 110 meters. The diagonal length of the same soccer field is about 133.14 meters. Abou
dexar [7]

Answer:

D

Step-by-step explanation:

Imagine this as a right angle triangle, where the diagonal length is the hypotenuse, the length is one side, and the width is the other.

We can therefore use Pythagoras' Theorem (or Pythagorean Theorem) to solve. The formula for this is a²+b²=c², where c is the hypotenuse, and a and b are the sides.

We can input the values we know to this formula to get the width. This gives 110²+b²=133.14² or 12100+b²=17 726.2596.

From there subtracting 12100 from both sides gives b²=5626.2596.

Square rooting b isolates it, leaving b=75.0083969.

Since the value of the diagonal was approximate, this can be assumed the b is 75m.
