Flagella and cilia of eukaryotic cells require a cytoskeleton composed of microtubules to function properly.

Cytoskeleton is a com plex of proteins that helps in maintaining the shape and integrity of a cell. It provides mechanical support to the cell. The different proteins found in the cytoskeleton are: microtubules, actin and intermediate filaments. The microtubules are the largest proteins while the actin are the smallest.

Microtubules are the part of cytoskeleton. it is made up of monomer tubulin protein. It is a dimeric structure. The individual strand of protein is called a protofilament. The protein consists of a plus end and a minus end.

Using the yeast chart, what two limiting factors may have caused a decline in the peak?
Alexxx [7]

Answer:

a) Ran out of food

c) A disease spread across the population

Explanation:

The appropriate answer for this is insufficient food and accumulation of toxic material( disease spread across the population).

It is the lag phase of growth. In this phase cell death is greater than cell production. This happens when there is insufficiency of food and accumulation of waste material of bacteria that are toxic for yeast, and result in cell death.

If you are satisfied with the answer and I am hopeful, please mark it branliest.

Thanking in anticipation.

The drug cytochalasin targets actin filaments in the cytoskeleton, preventing them from forming. Treatment of a cell with cytoch
Paul [167]

Answer:

Form cellular extensions

Explanation:

Actin filaments are linear chain of globular actin (G-actin) subunits.

Actin filaments occur as microfilaments in the cytoskeleton inside the cell membrane, which are part of the contractile apparatus in muscle and non-muscle cells and various other type of cells.

Actin filaments are particularly abundant beneath the plasma membrane, they form a network that provides mechanical support, they determines cell shape, enabling cells to migrate, engulf particles, and divide.
