A given short peptide, SGYAL contains four peptide bonds. Any given short peptides/protein contain at least one amino group(s) (nh3 ) and one carboxyl group(s) (-coo- ).

SGYAL stands for secretaria general y asuntos legales. Sgyal is also written as Ser-Gly-Tyr-Ala-Leu . The structure of SGYAL is shown in the image attached. SGYAL contains four peptide bonds as highlighted by yellow color in the structure of SGYAL.

Peptide bond is formed by the condensation of carboxylic group of one molecule and amino group of other molecule. Any given short peptides/protein contain at least one amino group(s) (NH_{3}) and one carboxyl group(s) ( -COO-).

How does mass affect potential energy?
Andreyy89

What i would say: The amount of gravitational potential energy an object has depends on its height and mass. The heavier the object and the higher it is above the ground, the more gravitational potential energy it holds. Gravitational potential energy increases as weight and height increases.

Hope this helps! :)

Compared to a 0.1 M aqueous solution of NaCl, a 0.8 M aqueous solution of NaCl has a
Fudgin [204]
The correct answer is option 2. A 0.8 M aqueous solution of NaCl has a higher boiling point and a lower freezing point than a 0.1 M aqueous solution of NaCl. This is explained by the colligative properties of solutions. For the two properties mentioned, the equation for the calculation of the depression and the elevation is expressed as: ΔT = -Km and ΔT = Km, respectively. As we can see, concentration and the change in the property has a direct relationship.

The reaction between carbon tetrachloride, CCl4, and water, H2O, to form carbon dioxide, CO2, and hydrogen chloride, HCl, has a
xxTIMURxx [149]

Answer:

High activation energy is the reason behind unsuccessful reaction.

Explanation:

There are two types of reaction: (1) thermodynamically controlled reaction and (2) kinetically controlled reaction.

Thermodynamically controlled reaction are associated with change in enthalpy during reaction. More negative the enthalpy change, more favored will be the reaction.

Kinetically controlled reaction are associated with activation energy of a reaction. The lower the activation energy value, the more rapid will be the reaction.

Here, reaction between CCl_{4} and H_{2}O is thermodynamically favored due to negative enthalpy change but the high activation energy does not allow the reaction to take place by simple mixing.
