If a researcher gives a personality test to several individuals and the gives them the same tests a few weeks later, she is most likely testing reliability

Psychological measurement can be defined as a tool specifically designed to quantify latent psychological variables. There are at least two main quality indicators for psychological measurement: reliability and validity.

To elaborate, given the information, it can be concluded that the researcher tries to assess the temporal reliability (also known as the test-retest reliability) of the personality test. Other types of reliability are inter-rater reliability and internal reliability.

Reliability is defined as the probability that a product, system, or service will perform its intended function adequately for a specified period of time, or will operate in a defined environment without failure.

Hi there!

The principle of SOCIAL CONFORMITY.

It showed that people tend to engage behaviours more likely in confirmation of the society at large.

The interesting question is when everybody is thinking about confirming then who decide what behavior to engage in, from the start? That is if we are supposed to DRINK in a Social gathering when all are drinking. Then who thought that Drinking is to be done by all, or who sets the social norm and how is the degree of strictness understood and enforced?
is it something we just think and that the norms doesn't actually exist?

Some food for thought!

Gelneren [198K]

Answer:

When the psychologist elaborated on how productivity in that particular case has nothing to do with ratings, the interviewer interpreted it in a wrong manner and put it up as good researchers cannot make good teachers.

Explanation:

 • The meaning of what the psychologist said was not taken as it is by the interviewer and was rather twisted due to confusion.
 • The interviewer interpreted exactly the opposite of what the psychologist said because he could not understand the use of words made by the psychologist in a different manner.
