Answer:

63.5 copper

Explanation:

You have the balanced equation: CuO + H2 --> Cu + H2O. You can use stoichiometry and see there is a 1:1 molar ratio between CuO and Cu.

1) work out the moles of CuO.

- mol=mass/mol mass = 79.5g/(63.5+16.0) = 1 mol CuO

2) work out mol Cu

- from the 1:1 mol ratio you know if you have 1 mol CuO you must have 1 mol Cu. So mol Cu=1 mol

3) work out mass of Cu

- mol=mass/mol mass therefore mass= mol x molar mass = 1 x 63.5g/mol-1 = 63.5g Cu

Determine the molar solubility of AgBr in a solution containing 0.150 M NaBr. Ksp (AgBr) = 7.7 × 10-13.
lesya692 [45]

Answer:

Molar solubility of AgBr = 51.33 × 10⁻¹³

Explanation:

Given:

Amount of NaBr = 0.150 M

Ksp (AgBr) = 7.7 × 10⁻¹³

Find:

Molar solubility of AgBr

Computation:

Molar solubility of AgBr = Ksp (AgBr) / Amount of NaBr

Molar solubility of AgBr = 7.7 × 10⁻¹³ / 0.150

Molar solubility of AgBr = 51.33 × 10⁻¹³

10. Which of the following mirror is used to form smaller image
vitfil [10]

Answer:

Correct answer is b) convex mirror

Explanation:

A convex mirror, which bulges outward, reflects at a wider angle near its edges than at its center, creating a slightly distorted image that's smaller than actual size. Convex mirrors have many uses. The smaller size of the images means that you can see more with these surfaces, hence their use in safety mirrors.

Cesium sulfite is formed from the cs cation and the so2−3 anion. What is the correct formula for this compound?
Anna35 [415]

Cesium Sulfite is formed from the Cs cation and the SO₃⁻² anion. The correct formula for this compound is Cs₂SO₃.

What is Cation ?

Cations are positively charged ions. It forms when an element lose one or more electrons.

What is Anion ?

Anions are negatively charged ions. It form when an element gains one or more electrons.

Symbol Cs⁺¹ SO₃⁻²

Valency +1 -2

Formula of the compound is Cs₂SO₃.

Thus from the above conclusion we can say that Cesium Sulfite is formed from the Cs cation and the SO₃⁻² anion. The correct formula for this compound is Cs₂SO₃.
